Cristina Barros (Brazil)

Cristina is a psychologist at The Institute of Psychology, University of São Paulo, Brazil. Cristina has been involved in health psychology dealing with patients suffering from cardiac and hematological diseases and cancer patients. She trained in Deep Memory Process and in Relaxation and Mental Imagery, techniques she uses to minimize the emotional and spiritual pain of terminal patients. She coordinated post graduate transpersonal courses and thought psycho-oncology course using transpersonal approach in care of cancer patients and their families. She is a vice-president of ATI – The Iberoamerican Transpersonal Association. She is in private practice and she teaches transpersonal courses.
